|Bloomington Central Station is a 47-acre transit-oriented mixed use development. It is located on the new light rail line and is only three blocks east of the Mall of America. It will have 50,000 s.f of retail, 1,200,000 s.f. of office space and a 600 room hotel and 1,000 units of housing.
Duan Corporation was asked by the owner to provide animation and renderings for the Phase One Development, which consisted of two 17-story condominium towers with 340 units. Because of the size and complexity of development, a numerous players were involved in the process. EDAW was responsible for the overall master planning; URS was the engineer for the light rail; Architects Alliance from Toronto was the architect for the two condominium towers; Pickard Chilton from New Haven, Connecticut was designing the hotel and office towers.
Duan Corporation collaborated with the above groups and produced high quality animation and renderings within four weeks. The animation and renderings helped the owner pre-selling half of all units even before breaking the ground.|
