| This project located at the southwest corner of the intersection of University Avenue and Western Avenue in St. Paul, a few block west of the State Capital. It is a brand new construction which has two stories plus a partial basement. The first level is the Mai Village Restaurant, and the second level has a Vietnamese Furniture showroom and five professional offices. The restaurant offers the guests a step back in time to experience all the splendor of Imperial Vietnam. A grand entry way leads to a bridge over a coy pond with water fall and a back wall of story carving. A bamboo floor and pagoda accentuates a décor mixed with oak, crafted tile and Thai silk upholstery to provide a glimpse of an opulent Vietnam. A highlight of the antiques is an imperial wooden cabinet with display to remember the owner’s uncle, Bao Dai, the last Vietnamese emperor who lived his final years in France from 1955 to 1997. | |
